In the 1930's, the English physician Dr. Bach came to the realization that same personality types attracted the same diseases. He thought that there must be something in nature that would provide balance and protect the individual from disease. He gave up his lucrative medical practice and devoted his life to the system now known as The Bach flower remedies.
Today, essences are used to help strengthen a person and allow buried thought patterns and traumas to surface. The release of pain and trauma are paramount in treatment with essences.
